Synthnostate: Sanguinity DEMO

The vampire sim.

Play as an ancient vampire in the future dystopia...

  • First/third person RPG
  • Hunting, exploration, sorcery, world domination
  • Open-ended, character-driven scenarios, NO main story
  • Original vampire/sorcery ruleset loosely derived from pre-Hollywood fiction and mythology
  • No frills low-budget production with ~2010 graphics

WORK IN PROGRESS - I'm releasing playable prototypes early and often to get the word out, building a demo to establish the gameplay and aesthetics, then finishing it myself or bringing on more people for more ambitious goals.

Q&A

  • Is this another "spiritual successor" to Bloodlines?
    • No. It's a different setting, different vampire rules, and we're going for harder gameplay.
  • Is this a porn game?
    • No. A vampire game has to be sexy, but as a rule we're keeping it SFW and focusing on RPG gameplay.
  • Is it moddable?
    • You should be able to decompile the PCK file, edit some files in Blender/Godot/etc, export modified files to a new PCK, and drop it into your user folder. If you want to test this, we'll be glad to help.
    • More extensive mod support is planned.

Downloads

Numbered versions are tested and cleaned up before release. They come out every 2 months approximately. Announcements are posted in the devlog.

Dev snapshots are for playtesting. Some features may be half-done or broken, but shouldn't be too terrible.

Tried it out, clearly it's pretty early development and has a long way to go. :)

One thing that I found quite annoying is the fact that mouse control inverts the up and down.  I'd like it if the mouse up and down could be reversed.

Oh yeah, I can’t stand non-inverted controls, I’ll add that setting in the next version.

Thanks for checking it out!
